The MOS timer inside this machine is actually simple to set up,
Do not feel intimidated when you start getting used to it. You will get better with a little practice. Much better. You can now MAKE your bait do what you think will work best for the catch.
You will see it has 4 small buttons on the timer board, located inside of the case just below the LED display.
Your timer comes PRE SET to "run" for 2.0 seconds and be "off" for 3.0 seconds.
The speed at which the jig arm rotates is controlled by the on-off knob on the end of the case. Suggest to fill a 5 gallon bucket with water so you can visualize bait action IN WATER.
TO CHANGE THE RUN TIME, DO EXACTLY THIS:
The display will flash P3.2 every time that it is turned on, then start counting off and cycling.
When the counter is running press the 0 X 0 0 button for a count of two. "SET"
P3.2 will again be seen on the LED.
Short press that same "SET" button again, you will see OP on the LED. OP is the same as RUN TIME.
Use the right two buttons, one at a time, to make timer increase, or decrease."UP DOWN"
When you see a time you want to try, short press the 0 X 0 0 again. "SET"
Now you will see a CL on the display. This is the OFF TIME...
To set the off time desired, repeat the same steps as above using the right two buttons to increase or decrease time..
Press and hold the SET button.
P3.2 appear and timer is now set.
When the timer is ON a red led will luminate on the timer board, This small red LED will turn off when the timer reaches the CL state "CLOSE". The light will stay off, until the off time you selected is reached,
IF, FOR SOME REASON, you cannot make the timer run, and the timer counts off but the red light does not come on, then you inadvertently depresses the STOP/ON button X 0 0 0
Just leave the machine on, with the counter running, and press the X STOP button one time. It should read ON.
Repeat the above process several times and it will become very easy.....
If it is too difficult still, hand it to a teenager, or send it back and advise what time you wish to have the timer set to run.
